Default Where to farm for materials?

I did a search and I couldn't find much of anything specific on this.

I'm saving up on materials for armor and I'd like to know everyone's opinion on the best places to farm for wood and dust.

Wood can easily be obtained from the trolls outside of Droknar's Forge. While they don't drop wood, they drop a lot of staves and bows which can often salvage for 10+ wood. Otherwise, farm anywhere you want and salvage all bows and staves you find.

For dust, I can't think of an easy place to get it. Some drop in the FoW and UW, possibly in the Krytan missions, but I don't know exactly.

Gates of Kryta mission for dust. Go around behind the building where Oink is and kill all the mobs back there.

Think I could solo that with my W/Mo? Or a two-man farm?..I don't remember that mission in the least. I'll have to try my hand at it later tonight.

A lot of people solo that mission. I believe a W/Mo should be able to do it, but I use a primary monk.

Not really on-topic, but Mineral Springs is pretty great for tanned hide squares. With a full group of henchmen, I usually average 60-70 ths per run. Plus, it's a lot of fun to farm there (nature's renewal ganks the avicara casters)

I one time farmed in that mission , Gladiators def., bonetti's, Cyclone Axe Mending, and healing breeze, rest doesnt matter. Good axe and shield -2 while enchanted works . As for stats I had 8 healing, 9 strength, 9 axe and 14 tactics worked nicely :P

I like to take my warrior and run the Great North Wall mission. At the end it's really simple to solo all the Charr and you can get a lot of armor/low end items that will salvage for a little bit. But trolls are great for the wood...if you really need it (I have over 500 at the moment).

Other than Wood from the trolls, the other big materials place is the Grawls in Witman's Folly.

They drop alot of white armors and white weapons.

Dust is good for crafting Vellum~ the rare material that is used on monk 15k tattoos.

For wood/feathers I solo farm the Avicara in mineral springs.

Also just doing a full FoW Sprider Farm will net you about 200 wood, 40 Dust, 100 iron and about 5 Steel if you Sup salvage all the weapon/sheild/staves drops ect.
